All Of 2019/December Wrap-Up 2019

The New Year is almost here, a new decade, and this one has flown by. This year has had a lot of ups and downs but from a reading/blogging perspective it has been wonderful. I have had so much fun joining this community and even more fun being active in it! I read a lot this year and hope to do so next year too! Here is to a brilliant New Year full of wonderful things for you all!

This is a long wrap-up, but I have cut it down– let’s dive into what my year looked like!

December!

What I Have Read!

As you all know, this month was dedicated to re-reads, aside from two books, and over the course of the month I did a Harry Potter re-read, Pride and Prejudice re-read, and a Jane Eyre re-read! Alongside those I also read The Silent House which was a Netgalley eARC I had had a while, and The Starless Sea which was a Christmas gift!

I didn’t get through my entire December TBR, but since it had a lot of books on there and it was the Holiday season, I don’t mind too much!

Bookish Posts!

I attempted to do Blogmas and managed to post everyday prior to the 25th! Which was my aim so I am pleased with that, and I managed a post ot two afterwards so I am thrilled!

Reviews!

Three long awaited reviews went up this month, finally, and I am pleased to say they were pretty positive ones.

The Silent House, by Nell Pattison – ⭐⭐⭐🌟 (3.5 Stars) -Negalley eARC

Escape Routes, by Naomi Ishiguro – ⭐⭐⭐⭐-Netgalley eARC

Renegades, by Marissa Meyer – ⭐⭐⭐⭐

BlogTours!

An ultimate blog tour went on this month and it was awesome! The book was brilliant and I hope to read the rest of the series at some point!

#BLOGTOUR The Devil’s Apprentice – ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟(4.5 stars) Provided and run by #TheWriteReads @The_WriteReads (Twitter). A Thankyou to TheWriteReads – they are so supportive of bloggers and absolutely amazing when it comes to helping us! If you are a blogger and you dont follow them, I highly suggest it – they always have great new bloggers to follow and awesome posts to read from them!

Book Post!

This month I also won a copy of The Other You, by J.S Monroe from ReadersFirst!

2019 Overall

Overall, I have read a lot this year, but I only started my blog in mid-late September so my reviews only go so far back- but in this time I read 43 books! This year I have read a lot of amazing books, and I hope next year is just as wonderful.

Reviews/Bookish Posts!

All of my 2019 Reviews and Bookish Posts are on my monthly wrap-ups!

Other 2019 BlogTours!

Mistletoe, by Alison Littlewood – ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Provided by Netgalley (eARC), run by @Millsreid11 @JoFletcherBooks

Other 2019 BookPost!

Another Readers First Win, Starve Acre, by Andrew Michael Hurley. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

BBNYA!

Head over to my Whats New page to find out more about BBNYA – the official reveal was this year. I can’t say too much, but I can tell you I am a panellist and that it will be awesome! Follow (On Twitter) @BBNYA_Official and @The_WriteReads for updates and information!

Stats!

I don’t care much about my stats, be them high or low since I do this for my own enjoyment. However, I thought I would just do a little update on how my first few months have been!

Since September I have gained 209 blog followers and 667 Twitter followers (@BookreviewsKb). So, Thank you to everyone who follows me! You have all made this so enjoyable, welcoming and easy for me which I appreciate so much! And I hope to be equally supportive in the New Year and will continue to talk about the books I love with you all, and the books you all love!

Plan For 2020!

I posted almost everyday this month due to blogmas but of course I will not do so in the New Year as it will be too demanding and I simply won’t have time. So, my new aim will be to post 2 times a week (with a few in between, as and when I can).

I will also be attempting to read a lot of books I already own with a few ARC’s/eARC’s or new books in between!

My Christmas haul will be posted soon as will my 2020 TBR, and it will hopefully be a big one! My goal is to read far more books than I did this year! I will also post an official 2020 goals post soon too (maybe combined with my New Year Resolutions post?) So keep an eye out my BookNerds!

That is my monthly/yearly wrap-up! Hopefully the New Year will be just as fun and productive with lots of great reads.

I have had an awesome few months of blogging this year, since I only started in late September, and want to say a big Thank You to all of you who have been super supportive and interactive with me! You have all been amazing and I hope your New Year is wonderful and full of great things!

Happy Reading and Happy New Year BookNerds!😊💜📚
