Blogmas Update (#2)

Hello everyone! So, normally I don’t do weekly wrap ups as I do a big one at the end of each month but because I am doing blogmas I have decided to do both! Hopefully, if you enjoy my posts, these little wrap ups will be helpful (they are for me!) as it is very difficult to keep up with everyones posts over the festive season! So this week I have done a few posts and *gasp* an actual book review?? and have managed to keep up with my blogmas posts! Hopefully, I can keep this up, even as things get more busy over Christmas, so forgive me for any late posts! Anyway, let’s dive into this week!

With the festive season upon us I have not read as much as usual but I have finished Pride and Prejudice, and I just finished Jane Eyre! So, I am okay with that since they were my top re-reads! Next Up is Harry Potter-so I am thrilled since I adore re-reading this series.

So, I read a netgalley eARC of Escape Routes, by Naomi Ishiguro last month and I finally wrote and published the review. This was difficult for me to write because it is an amazing book and the writing is stunning, but it really wasn’t for me. Escape Routes is a collection of short stories that are a little mystical and magical with some ambiguity and uncertainty. Each story is very unique and original, definitely perfect for short story lovers!

Bookish Posts!

I won The Other You, by J.S. Monroe from Readers First! Publishing in Jan 2020 by Head Of Zeus. This is a psychological thriller about a woman who believes her boyfriend has been replaced!! It sounds super creepy and seems like it will be an awesome read! This is likely to be a part of my end of December reads or the start of January. Either way I will be reading it very soon!

Last Weeks Update!

In case you missed it, here is last week’s Blogmas Update/wrap up post!

So, that was my week! Hopefully you enjoyed this post or found it helpful, feel free to link your own wrap ups/favourite post in the comments so that I can catch up with any posts I may have missed (Along with the busy season, WordPress has been playing up a little for me so forgive me if I am behind!).

Have you had a favourite read this week? Let me know! Happy Reading BookNerds! πŸ˜ŠπŸ’œπŸ“š

    • It really does sound good! I can’t wait to read it, I love the idea of dopplegangers etc.. so it looks like my sorta read! πŸ’œAhh too true, my re-reads have been delightful! The humour of classics are always brilliant too, and Harry Potter is just ahh!😊😊
