Three Bookish Things Booktag

I was tagged by Koosreviews! Thank you for the tag! Be sure to check out Koo’s blog, so many fantastic posts and reviews!

Three read once and loved authors

  • Book Review: The Poppy War (The Poppy war #1), by R. F. KuangI do actually plan to continue this series, I’m just painfully slow at getting around to it! But I adored PW and will definitely be picking up TDR asap.
  • Dianna Wynne Jones – Howl’s Moving Castle – I loved this book, I loved the film too, but I have yet to continue with this series either!
  • P. Djèlí Clark – A Master of Djinn – This was an absolutely fantastic read, I really loved it but I haven’t read any of the authors other works!

Three titles I’ve watched but haven’t read

  • Game Of Thrones – I started watching this years ago before I knew it was based off of a book series. I finished the tv show along with everyone else who watched the final season, but never got around to picking up the books.
  • Emma – I watched this on Netflix to get over my P&P watch + reread hang-over but have yet to actually pick up the book.
  • Dexter – Another series I started a while ago before I knew it was based off of a book/series – I think I did start the book but ended up not finishing it for some reason!

Three characters you love

So three recent characters I fell in love with (since I love far too many) are:

Three series binged

I was very late to the party with all three of these series and ending up binging them all!

Three favorite book covers

Book Review: The Jasmine Throne (Burning Kingdoms #1), by Tasha Suri – Absolutely gorgeous cover, from the colours to the character, to the font – I just love it!

The Bone Ships, by RJ Barker – I love this trilogy’s set of covers, really fits well with the story and I love the illustrations of the Keyshans.

Book Review: The Mask Of Mirrors (Rook And Rose #1), by M. A. Carrick – The intricacy of the mask and the colours against the black background is downright beautiful.

Three goals for this year

  • Hit my GoodReads goal of 75 books this year!
  • Expand my tbr by adding more diverse/inclusive authors
  • Be more active on bookish social media.

I tag:

You! I’m not tagging anyone in particular but if you want to join in with this tag then feel free, I’d love to see your answers!

  1. Enjoyed reading your responses! I really need to read A Master of Djinn! I have heard so many great things but keep putting it off. I will definitely read it this month.
