Hello, BookNerds! It has been a while since I have made multiple requests on Netgalley for eARC’s, partly because I haven’t had too much time or energy to read and review them all. However, some of my top reads from this year and last year were the start of new series and their sequels finally dropped! So let’s jump into what books are now on my Netgalley shelf!

Legacy Of Steel (Legacy Trilogy #2), by Matthew Ward. So Legacy Of Ash (Legacy Trilogy #1) -review- was a brilliant beast of a book that I absolutely adored so you can only imagine how eager I am to read the sequel! Book 1 left us with a lot of questions, and an intriguing start to the series and so I have high expectations for book 2. This series has amazing characters and a fantastic world and I am so excited to visit them all again.

The Fires Of Vengeance (The Burning #2), by Evan Winter. The Rage Of Dragons (The Burning #1)– review– book 1 was an epic, action packed start to this African inspired fantasy series that was brilliant and engaging. The final line of book 1 alone is enough to make you want to dive right into book 2! There is a lot of promise of revenge, magic and action set up for this second instalment that I cannot wait to dive into it.

Call Of The Bone Ships (The Tide Child #2), by RJ Barker. The Bone Ships (The Tide Child #1)- review – Another absolutely amazing start to a series, book 1 is full of daring sea adventures, dragons and brutal fights. This series is unique and compelling, full of magic, a unique matriarchal structure, ships made of bones and much much more. The characters are fascinating and the hope for book 2 is equally high! The anticipation is high for this book.
THe next 3 titles are ones I mentioned in my recent post of Upcoming Books I Am Looking Forward To! These include; The Betrayals, by Bridget Collins; The Invisible Life Of Addie LaRue; and The Ikessar Falcon, by KS Villoso. All three of these are ones I have been looking forward too, with my current read being KS Villoso’s second instalment in this series.
What do you all think of my list? Mostly made up of sequels, I am super excited to dive back into these series as they all left a lasting impression on me and were my top reads of the year! 90% of my list is Orbit titles – my love for fantasy is staying strong! Anyway, I have extremely high hopes for each of these books and cannot wait to get through them all!
Anyone would think you’re a fantasy reader! Haha. I haven’t got any of these on my own TBR but I am keeping an ear out for people’s thoughts on The Betrayals and Addie Larue. Happy reading!
